With now over 300 projects purchased and completed (hard to believe looking back) although we’ll be the first to admit we are not perfect and we are constantly evolving we have well earnt our stars and proudly consider ourselves as leading experts in the industry.
The company was born out of a seed of frustration after One of our directors in their previous role experienced sickening first hand instances where innocent sellers were being taken advantage of and being over promised and under delivered in this sort of (what was then) under ground, unregulated market space.
He thought bugger it, He can do this better, Kiwis deserve it and there’s a huge opportunity for someone to break into this space that puts Transperancy, Professionalism and Integrity at the forefront of every decision, surely the good guys will have a good shot at making it?
Since our humble beginnings (see full story here) Your property Solutions have gone from just park bench ideas into a fully fledged business that have been able to relive the stress, burden and emotional and financial hardship for many NZ families Your Property Solutions looks forward to working with you and your families to achieve exceptional results in a fraction of the time.

Billy McLachlan
Director
Billy always wanted to become a professional skateboarder. However, circumstances led him on a different path. After dropping out of high school, Billy’s determined mother enrolled him in a Business and Tourism course at Ara Institute.
Surprisingly, he excelled in the class and discovered the power of investing in real estate through the book “Rich Dad Poor Dad.”
He reached out to a self-made millionaire for guidance and landed a job as a personal assistant, gaining valuable experience in property investment.
Motivated by his success, Billy ventured into his first real estate deal—a renovation project for an earthquake-damaged house. This experience ignited his passion for transforming damaged properties into inviting homes with profitable results.
Reconnecting with an old friend, Slade, the two joined forces and formed Your Property Solutions. Their focus on educating clients and providing solutions quickly gained trust and propelled their business into what it is today.
Slade Hocking
Director
Slade brings a strong track record in residential sales to his role at Your Property Solutions. Having completed transactions throughout New Zealand in his previous position as a licensed Real Estate agent with nationwide property investment and sales companies.
Growing up in Timaru and being exposed to property investing through his parents and grandparents it was a logical progression that the same path was followed.
Whilst establishing his real estate career in Christchurch Slade was reunited with Billy where the pair began their property investing career together.
Slade prides himself on a well-honed ability to problem-solve and find alternative ways to address challenges, in order to achieve results that exceed expectations.
He is also passionate about music, and following years of study in New Zealand and Europe he is now a professional musician with the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra.
